Dr Alexandra Bahr

About

Alexandra Bahr is working on establishing standard protocols for high-throughput detection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in environmental and wildlife samples (InnoDia), contributing to the development of the One Health Surveillance Platform. She is also involved in supervising PhD students.

Alexandra Bahr studied Molecular Biology in Greifswald and completed her PhD in 2021 on the use of marine polysaccharides. After working at the Institute of Pharmacy at the University of Greifswald, she joined the Helmholtz Institute for One Health in 2023.
