Ruth Suchsland studied biochemistry in Greifswald and completed her dissertation on nucleic acid chemistry and biochemistry with Prof. Sabine Müller in 2021. After working as a research associate at the University of Greifswald, she joined the Helmholtz Institute for One Health in April 2022 as a scientific coordinator. In addition to her main task in science communication, she actively supports the HIOH in the area of science management.
