About
As a veterinarian, I already discovered my passion for zoonotic pathogens during my studies and was able to deepen it during my scientific phase at the Friedrich Loeffler Institute in Greifswald. As I spent a large part of my working time in biosafety level 3 in stables and laboratories, I developed an affinity for technical solutions and processes. I have now been working in this field for 10 years for various institutions, universities and industry.
I support the HIOH in the approval phase of the laboratory areas and provide technical advice for the new building in Greifswald. In addition, I am organising a spin-off in the form of the start-up company "Biohazardcube". Currently, my field of work is the development and establishment of work processes, taking into account occupational safety and environmental protection, as well as quality assurance of scientific projects, communication in teams and pragmatic solutions for complex tasks. Sustainability and the natural use of resources are also an exciting challenge for me.
