Gbohounou Fabrice Gnali

About

Gbohounou Fabrice Gnali is a veterinary epidemiologist who has worked on zoonotic pathogens in domestic animals and certain wildlife pathogens. As a member of Global South Bat, an organization that campaigns for the conservation of bat biodiversity, he was a volunteer at Abidjan National Zoo, where he monitored the health of the animals. He currently works in the Environment and Health department of the Institut Pasteur de Côte d'Ivoire, where he assists the head of the animal resources management unit. Currently a doctoral student at the Ecole Inter-Etat des Sciences et Médecine Vétérinaire de Dakar (Ecole doctorale des Sciences et vie), his work focuses on the characterization of emerging zoonotic pathogens from bushmeat in urban and peri-urban areas along a gradient stretching from Liberia (Monrovia) to Côte d'Ivoire (Abidjan).
