Jana Brendecke is a PhD student in the department 'Epidemiology and Ecology of Antimicrobial Resistance'. Her research focuses on the dissemination of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in black-headed gulls, houseflies (project: CIFLY) and soil samples (project: AgriBiom) in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania under the One Health aspect. After graduating in pharmacy, she first completed her diploma at Uppsala University and obtained her license to practice pharmacy in 2020. Since 2021, she has been working part-time on her PhD and since 2023 she has been employed full-time.
