Lena-Sophie Swiatek is a PhD student in the Department of 'Epidemiology and Ecology of Antimicrobial Resistance' and works in the Junior Research Group DISPATch_MRGN. She conducts proteomic and transcriptomic studies of antimicrobial resistant E. coli and K. pneumoniae to identify pathogen-specific markers as possible alternative targets for disarming pathogenic bacteria.

Lena-Sophie Swiatek successfully completed her studies in Molecular Biology and Physiology in 2021 and is currently working her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Katharina Schaufler, PhD.
