Xènia Camprubí-Márquez

Xènia Camprubí-Márquez is a PhD student in the Department of 'Epidemiology and Ecology of Antimicrobial Resistance' at the Helmholtz Institute for One Health, working on the project 'Wildlife disease monitoring in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (MVP) through an integrated One Health surveillance-response system'.

She graduated with a master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Barcelona, where her master's thesis focused on the molecular antimicrobial resistance mechanisms and epidemiology of Haemophilus species. After an Erasmus internship with the Research Group 'Evolution of the Resistome' at the Research Center Borstel-Leibniz Lung Center in 2023, she joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Katharina Schaufler, PhD.
